Bandit

I've been a full-time runner for over 20 years. I normally don't feel the need to advertise this but today I do. Because today was the first day of Spring. And today it was beautiful outside. And today, today I ran bandit. And for those of you who don't know what that means, don't worry about it. For those of you who do, eat it. You think you're better than me, suckuh?

(starting line pic)

Today was the 35th running of the St. Patrick's road race in Holyoke, Massachusetts. There was a mad amount of runners, a mad amount of mayhem, a mad amount of vomit (not from me), and a mad amount of fun. Big ups to my boy J.C. for making his first appearance with me at the starting line. See you next year, bitch. (pre-race pic)

And while I was away, great things happened in e-land. Lots of great things. So many great things that, again, you'll have to forgive me if I miss something.

Wigleaf. Bam. Me at Wigleaf. Tremendous thanks to Scott Garson for his kindness and patience. Check out my piece and postcard. Yes, do. Thank you, too.

The quietly awesome Foundling Review dropped an insane issue today. An insane STACKED issue. Unreal. Be sure to check out awesomeness from Roxane Gay and awesomeness from too many other awesome people to name. Just go. Bam.

The first title from Prick of the Spindle's Aqueous Books, Michael Atwood's The HiStory of Santa Monica, is now available for pre-order. More bam.

And....what?

Happy Spring, all. (post-race pic)

You'd outrun me anyday. Me and my asthma pump would be collapsed three feet from the starting line...
