Awesome Things on April 1st That Are No Joke

The Spring 2010 Issue of Per Contra is no joke.

Featuring Sefi Atta, The Per Contra Interview with Miriam N. Kotzin, and fiction by Mel Bosworth(!), Stephen Dixon, Robert Kaye, T.C. McCarthy, M.E. Parker and Elizabeth Thorpe.

Featuring Poetry by Sarah Kennedy, Margaret A. Robinson, Philip Sultz and Alice Teeter, and Translations by Jacqueline Michaud, Alexis Levitin and David R. Slavitt.

And MORE.

Also, if you peruse the back issues, you'll find work by Kathy Fish, Richard Burgin, and John Updike(!!!).

Wow. Tremendous thanks to the Per Contra team for allowing me to grace their storied pages. No Joke. Nope.

In other non-joking news, Ben Tanzer is at it again. This time he's part of the virtual book tour promoting Sally Weigel's novella Too Young To Fall Asleep(CCLaP Publishing, 2010).

Ben decided to pay homage to the MBRT/Big Other reading series by offering up a video reading of his own. It's pretty awesome. And his backdrop is far superior to any of mine. Dig it all HERE.

Big thanks to Ben for the shout out. And the handsomeness.

Have you thought of expanding "Loveland Pass" into a novella? You should (well, not 'should', but 'should'), because it's great...

Thanks for the mention of Sally's book (I'm its publisher), and I'm glad you liked Ben's sort-of homage. We're all big fans of yours over here at CCLaP.
